Welcome to the LSU Scholarship Opportunities homepage!

LSU awards numerous scholarships each academic year through the fundraising efforts of the LSU Foundation and the generosity of private donors. Scholarship award amounts vary and are often awarded based on several factors, including, but not limited to, demonstrated academic success, financial need, and donor-specific criteria.

To be considered for any of these scholarships, students must complete their scholarship applications in this system. Students must click Sign In at the top right corner of this page. This will direct them to the login screen where they can use their myLSU credentials to access and complete the general scholarship application as well as any supplemental scholarship applications for scholarships that they may be recommended for.

Below is a list of the scholarship opportunities offered through the LSU Foundation at this time. It is a student’s responsibility to check back frequently for additional scholarship opportunities that may become available. If students have questions concerning these awards, they should contact the academic college or unit that administers the opportunity.

General Application: This term refers to your scholarship application in Blackbaud Award Management (BAM). All students will need to complete a General Application in BAM in order to apply for scholarships in-system. This is not to be confused with a general application for admissions or the Common App.

Award: The amount stated is for general information purposes and not a guarantee of what a student may receive if awarded. Actual award amounts can vary based on recipient eligibility, available funds, and other factors.

Deadline: The date by which students should complete the General Application, any Supplemental Applications, or any individual scholarship applications to receive consideration.

Actions: Upon completion of the General Application and any Supplemental Applications, you will be automatched with scholarships for which you meet the criteria. These scholarships indicate “None” under “Action” and require no additional information from you for consideration. A limited number of scholarships indicate “Apply” under “Action” and require individual applications for consideration.
