Lloyd Lauden / Windell Jackson Memorial Endowed Scholarship
The Lloyd Lauden / Windell Jackson Memorial Endowed Scholarship is awarded to an incoming freshman or continuing LSU student, majoring in either Agronomy, Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness, or Food SysteM.S. and Agricultural Engineering. Students from the sugar cane growing area of the state who have an interest in the sugar cane industry will be given preference in this scholarship.
High school students can be nominated from Louisiana high schools and their names provided to the Scholarship Committee, College of Agriculture, LSU, Baton Rouge, by February 1 of each year. The basis of the nomination should be academic ability, participation in student activities, citizenship, honors won, and offices held. Students can also apply directly for the scholarships.
