Full-time junior or senior in the College of Agriculture with a minimum GPA of 3.0 majoring in one of the following disciplines: agricultural business; biological engineering; environmental management systems; and plant and soil systems (agronomic crops or soil science); preference to students from one of the following sugar cane producing parishes: Acadia, Ascension, Assumption, Avoyelles, Calcasieu, East Baton Rouge, Evangeline, Iberia, Iberville, Jefferson Davis, Lafayette, Lafourche, Point Coupee, St. Charles, Rapides, St. James, St. John, St. Landry, St. Martin, St. Mary, Terrebonne, Vermillion, or West Baton Rouge
