Joel Lafayette Fletcher Graduate Scholarship for the Preservation of French Culture

The Joel Lafayette Fletcher Graduate Award for Preservation of French Culture is awarded to full-time master’s degree or PhD candidates enrolled at LSU in the Department of French Studies with a concentration in language and society focused on Louisiana French culture and language. The recipients must demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to preserving and expanding the influence of Louisiana’s French cultural heritage through education, research, and public service.
