Creative Writing Awards & Literary Scholarship Fund

The Creative Writing Awards and Literacy Scholarship Fund is awarded to undergraduate or graduate students at Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College enrolled in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, majoring in creative writing in the English Department. The recipients must be in good standing. The criteria in literary excellence are based on the aesthetics of five genres – fiction, poetry, playwriting, screenwriting, and creative nonfiction, as taught by writers in these genres in the English Department at LSU.
