Dr. Harvye F. Lewis Graduate Travel Fund

The Dr. Harvye F Lewis Graduate Travel Fund is awarded to a full-time student, or a part-time student, provided the student enrolls in at least six (6) credit hours per semester. The recipient must be a master’s or doctoral student enrolled in the LSU Graduate School, majoring in Human Ecology.

Graduate students may apply for either partial or full funding for travel expenses in accordance with university regulations to attend professional meetings by submitting a completed application form maintained by the Office of the Director of the School of Human Ecology outlining the purpose of the travel, dates of travel, professional organization, destination, and estimated costs. It should include a brief statement explaining how and why attending this meeting will assist or enhance the student’s professional development.
