Kent James Greater Baton Rouge State Fair Award

The Kent James Greater Baton Rouge State Fair Award is awarded to full-time undergraduate students at LSU enrolled in the College of Agriculture who are residents of Louisiana and were active in 4-H or FFA during high school. Preference is given to students who demonstrate leadership and community service. First preference shall be given to students who are graduates of a high school or home school program in Ascension Parish. If no students from Ascension Parish qualify, the award shall be awarded to students who are graduates of a high school or home school program in East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Iberville, Livingston, Point Coupee, St. Helena, West Baton Rouge, or West Feliciana Parish
