Sidone Lawrence Walker Memorial Scholarship

The Sidone Lawrence Walker Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a full-time student enrolled at Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College. Preferential consideration is given first to a student pursuing a degree in the School of Library and Information Science. If no student in the School of Library and Information Science qualifies for this scholarship, then any student in the College of Humanities and Sciences shall be eligible to receive this scholarship award. Preferential consideration is given to recipients who demonstrate a financial need and a willingness to learn.
