Sullivan Student Emergency Fund

The Sullivan Student Emergency Fund was established by Dr. Ann Kivney, a member of the LSU SVM Class of 1984, in memory of her mother, a veterinary nurse in the 1940s, to support students in times of need. The Fund provides limited short-term financial assistance to full-time students enrolled in the School and experiencing a financial barrier or obstacle to continuing their education due to an emergency situation, such as an accident, illness, death of a family member, loss of housing or employment, or other unforeseen event, and have exhausted other available resources.
