Raymond W. Schneider Student Travel Award
The Raymond W. Schneider Student Travel Award is awarded to full-time graduate students or post-doctoral candidates in the College enrolled in the Department of Plant Pathology & Crop Physiology, who have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Financial need may be a consideration in selecting recipients. Awards are intended to defray the cost of attending professional meetings and conferences, industry technical training, other professional development programs, and travel to review comparative agricultural industry operations.
Applicants must submit: a description of their travel plans and the benefit to be derived; a summary of the applicant’s academic career and graduate research in a travel-related field; and a letter of support from the applicant’s faculty advisor.
