Virginia Mouw Ornithology Student Award Fund

The Virginia Mouw Ornithology Student Award Fund is awarded to full-time students enrolled at LSU engaging in ornithology research with or under the supervision of Museum faculty, to assist with expenses related to field and laboratory research, including but not limited to travel, housing, equipment, supplies, services, publishing, and conference attendance. Research award recipients shall be selected based on demonstrated abilities, the quality of proposed research projects, and financial need.

The Fund shall also support achievement awards recognizing outstanding performance by ornithology students.
