Wintle Scholarship Award

The Wintle Scholarship Award is awarded to full-time or part-time junior or senior students at LSU enrolled in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, pursuing an undergraduate degree in the Department of English, who have and maintain a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Financial need shall be a consideration. Preferential consideration may be given to (1) leadership ability and personal initiative as evidenced by participation in school and community activities, and (2) interest in pursuing and potential for success in a career as an educator or communicator.
