John Lewis Legacy of Courage Scholarship

The John Lewis Legacy or Courage Scholarship is awarded to full-time students enrolled at LSU who demonstrate financial need. Preferential consideration given first to graduates of one of the following Atlanta public high schools: B.E.S.T. Academy, Carver High School, Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy, Frederick Douglass High School, Maynard H Jackson High School, Benjamin E. Mays High School, South Atlanta High School, D. M. Therrell High School, and Booker T. Washington High School. Preferential consideration shall be given second to graduates of any Title I public high school in Atlanta, and third preference shall be given to a Title I Georgia high school graduate.
