Leonel E. Tustison and Helen L. Tustison Scholarship in the College of Human Sciences and Education
The Leonel E. Tustison and Helen L. Tustison Scholarship in Human Sciences and Education is awarded to full-time students at LSU enrolled in the College of Human Sciences and Education, on the basis of scholastic achievement, financial need, and character. Recipients must have a high school minimum grade point average of 3.50, and must maintain a minimum of a 3.50 grade point average during each year of college. Preferential consideration is given first to students who have graduated from a high school in East Baton Rouge Parish, and second to students who have graduated from a high school in West Baton Rouge Parish, Iberville Parish, or Ascension Parish. In the event that no eligible students from the parishes listed above are available, the scholarship shall be awarded to students who have graduated from a high school in the state of Louisiana.
