Joseph M. Deffner Memorial Scholarship

The Joseph M. Deffner Memorial Scholarship is awarded to full-time sophomore, junior, or senior students enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business and majoring in finance who have and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.7. First consideration is given to recipients who are residents of Texas, who have an interest in pursuing a career in energy finance, and have demonstrated continued participation and leadership in the community. Additional consideration is given to applicants who are members of the LSU Tiger Marching Band. Financial need may be a consideration in selecting recipients.
