Leonel E. Tustison and Helen L. Tustison Scholarship in the E. J. Ourso College of Business

The Leonel E. Tustison and Helen L. Tustison Scholarship enrolled in the E. J. Ourso College of Business is awarded to full-time students at LSU on the basis of scholastic achievement, financial need, and character. Recipients of this scholarship must have graduated from high school with a minimum GPA of 3.50. They must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.50 during each year of college. Preference is given to students who have graduated from a high school in East Baton Rouge Parish. Second priority is given to students who graduated from a high school in West Baton Rouge Parish, Iberville Parish, or Ascension Parish. In the event there are no eligible students from the parishes listed above, then the scholarship shall be awarded to students who have graduated from a high school in the state of Louisiana.

Recipients of this scholarship may retain the scholarship for an additional year(s), provided funds are available and they continue to meet the eligibility requirements. However, this scholarship will terminate upon the recipient’s receipt of their degree. This scholarship shall be withdrawn if the recipient fails to enroll or remain enrolled as a full-time student in the E. J. Ourso College of Business, or if the recipient is placed on disciplinary probation.
