Scholarship applications are open for the 2024-2025 academic year in Blackbaud Award Management (BAM).

LSU awards numerous scholarships annually, thanks to the generous support of private donors who contribute through fundraising initiatives managed by the LSU Foundation.

To be eligible for scholarship consideration, students must be admitted to LSU and then complete their scholarship applications through this portal. Please click Sign In at the top right corner of this page to log in using your myLSU credentials. Applicants must complete both the general application and any college-level application(s). Some scholarships may require you to answer specific questions in addition to the main application set.

Below is a list of the scholarship opportunities offered through the LSU Foundation at this time. It is a student’s responsibility to check back frequently for additional scholarship opportunities that may become available. If students have questions concerning these awards, they should contact the academic college or unit that administers the opportunity.

General Application: All students must complete a General Application in BAM to apply for scholarships in the system. This is not to be confused with a general application for admission into LSU or the Common App.

Award: The amount listed is generalized information, not a guarantee of what a student may receive if awarded. Actual award amounts can vary based on recipient eligibility, available funds, and other factors.

Deadline: The date students should complete the General Application, any College-Level Applications, or any individual opportunity-specific questions to receive consideration.

• Incoming Freshmen: February 1st
• Continuing Undergraduate Students: March 1st
• Graduate Students: Please get in touch with your program directly.

Action: Many of our scholarships are “automatch”. This means the system will match you to all the scholarships you are eligible for – you do not need to choose these scholarships to apply for individually.

• If the Actions column says none ,there is no further action required by the student. If you qualify based on the selection criteria, your application will be automatically considered for the scholarship without any further steps required from you.
• If the Actions column says Apply, you need to answer additional, scholarship-specific questions apart from your general or college-level application.
• If the Actions column says Ended, the deadline has passed, and the scholarship no longer accepts applications.
